Studio Policies

Cancellation Policy:

  • We have a strict cancellation policy of 12 hours in advance for group classes and 24 hours in advance for private sessions from your scheduled appointment time.
    • If a private session is not cancelled within the time frame, you will be charged for the session.
    • If a group class is not cancelled within the specified time frame, you will be charged for the class from your pass or at the class drop-in rate.
  • Thank you for your cooperation! While we are willing to make exceptions for true emergencies, our cancellation policies are consistently enforced for the following reasons:
    • To be consistent and fair, treating all clients equally.
    • To protect and account for the instructor’s time and compensation.
    • To be as considerate as possible to the clients who are waitlisted for a class or appointment time.

Studio Etiquette:

  • Keep all your belongings in lockers at the front of the studio other than water bottles, including cell phones. If cellphones are placed under the equipment during class they may be stepped on and broken, which we don’t want to happen.
  • Punctuality: arrive on time, as being late can disrupt the class flow and potentially put clients at risk due to lack of warm-up. We suggest arriving at scheduled classes 5-10 minutes early.
  • We kindly ask you to take shoes and coats off and leave them in the place provided.
  • Please wear suitable attire. We recommend wearing close-fitting clothing, nothing too baggy, for the benefit of personal safety, free movement, and efficient teaching. No uncovered zips, buttons or other items that may scratch or tear or otherwise damage the apparatus.
  • No dangling jewelry is allowed for apparatus classes as it may damage or get caught in springs and straps and cause injury. For the same reasons, please tie your long hair up for reformer classes.
  • Please avoid strong perfumes or colognes due to potential sensitivities and allergies.
  • No cellphones or gum during class, please.
  • Please no lotion on hands or on exposed skin. This presents a slip and fall potential in many exercises, especially on the apparatus, and can damage the equipment.
  • No glass bottles or drinks other than water are accepted in the exercise room.
  • Please do not bring valuable belongings with you.
  • Clean and replace all equipment you have used after your session, as courtesy offered to the next client.
